Abstract:

When young Ares saw four-year-old Melissa within the walls of a shelter, his desire to escape disappeared. With one delicate touch, she transformed his life of hardship and deprivation. Since then, he has remained her loyal companion. Ares was unloved by the world and did not love anyone else but her. On the other hand, Melissa sought to help everyone she could and could not dedicate her life to just one person. Completely selfless, she was ready to sacrifice herself and her love in order to help others.

Within the shelter's walls, they grew into very different individuals with contrasting perspectives on life, values, and aspirations. Only their love for each other brings them together. Ares is willing to change for Melissa, ready to risk his life and achieve great feats. However, a terrible truth emerges and drives Melissa away because she could not bear it. As a result, Ares's appetite for destruction takes hold. He allows it to consume him and his actions may lead to the destruction of an entire city.

Will these complete opposites reunite and become one?
